Cake Pan Library

The Red Bank Public Library prides ourselves on our ever-growing collection of nontraditional circulating items. We don’t just have books to borrow at Red Bank; we have so much more, including cake pans!

We have a selection of more than 30 baking pans in different shapes. You can check out any one of our pans out for two weeks—the perfect amount of time to bake a cake for your event and return the washed pan for the next patron!

When you check out a cake pan, you will receive a convenient carry bag and laminated directions. Please note: Cake pans do have overdue fines, so be sure to return within two weeks.

Cake Pan Borrowing Rules:

• Pans must be borrowed by an adult on an Adult Library Card in good standing.

• Limit of 1 pan per family at a time.

• Loan period of 2 weeks — no renewals.

• Cake pans do collect late fees. Late fee is $0.20 per day.

• Cake pan DOES NOT go in the book returns bin.

• Cake pans are to be returned with all the materials (directions, bag and pan) to a staff member.

• Replacement fee for lost or damaged pans will be the price of a new replacement pan.

• Do not put in the dishwasher — dishwasher use damages the metal. Please thoroughly hand-wash and dry the pans before and after use. The pan will not be returnable dirty.
